BEDA #4

I'm drinking applesauce out of a little cup. It's not pleasant. I prefer to use a spoon. And yet... I won't stand up and go get a spoon. It's that time of night, I'm just tired. So I'm still drinking the applesauce.

Sometimes I get really annoyed by businesses in Rexburg. There are THREE Subways in Rexburg. There is a Great Harvest Bread Co. There was a Quiznos until last week when it closed down, but wouldn't you assume there were PLENTY of sandwich places in one small town? So when a new place called Gator Jack's opened up, I was pretty indignant. Come on, dudes, you'll just go out of business!

But no. Gator Jack's has served me the best sandwich I've ever gotten from a restaurant... three times. Their food is WAY good. They have this killer sandwich called De Mudder N' Law. It's a bacon, turkey, avocado sandwich and they don't skimp on the meat OR the avocado, plus they give you a tasty chocolate chip cookie for free :) The decor of the restaurant is really spectacular. It looks like you're under a tree in a bayou and they put planks everywhere. It's pretty cool. It makes me think of Splash Mountain at Disneyland... also "The Rescuers" and "The Princess and the Frog," so score for Disney all around!

If you're in Rexburg (or Rigby) and haven't tried out Gator Jack's Sandwich Shack, you need to get yourself over there! It's one of the only restaurants around here that I get really excited about!

Regarding the ten billion frozen yogurt places in Rexburg... this needs to stop. Except the place that has the coconut froyo, they can stick around.


An update on the applesauce thing... Nathan told me I could make a spoon out of the foil top. I'm a moron.
