So it's Sunday, the last day of the weekend! I always kinda dread Mondays. I don't know why, I like my job. I guess I like hanging out in pajamas all day better ;) But I will cut off my whining now, since I only have to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and we're leaving on Thursday!
Today was conference and I really enjoyed the morning session but I fell asleep during the afternoon session and missed about the last half. BUT I made the most awesome cinnamon rolls ever and we had those and Simply Apple juice for breakfast. It was delish. I'll post the recipes I used on my food blog sometime next week.
Nathan busted out the fryer and we had some waffle fries! They were suuuper tasty! Cinnamon rolls and waffle fries were the only things I ate today until dinner. I made puttanesca pasta! I've made it several times and it's good every time. I hopefully put the recipe on the food blog in the future. No promises though.
So I don't know if most people know this about me, but I HAAAAAAATE water. I think it tastes awful most of the time. Many people claim that water tastes like nothing... but it does. I've been trying to drink more of it, however, and I've found a way to make it semi-palatable: I dump some lemon juice in it! No, really. Just enough to give it a hint of lemon, and it makes the icky water taste go away. I'm full of solutions.
I'm starting Accutane in a couple weeks for my acne. Apparently it's six months of dry skin and misery in exchange for nice skin for the rest of your life. Seems fair to me.
I'm going to try to think of blog posts ahead of time so I don't just go on and on about what I ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. But if you have any ideas of a story I should tell, most embarrassing whatever, etc., let me know in the comments and if I can think of something hilarious/vaguely interesting, I might answer your question :D
The time has come to wrap up this blog post. I have more cinnamon rolls that need to be eaten.
Put cucumber slices in a pitcher of water, its amazing, and might help with that water taste.
ReplyDeleteI looooove cucumber water but produce is either expensive or super nasty here so I rarely see any that I want to buy! I've had raspberry water and that was pretty awesome :)
