Eine Katze, bitte.

I seriously seriously love Winco. It's in Idaho Falls and driving half an hour to buy groceries might SEEM kind of silly, but you obviously have no idea how much the Rexburg grocery stores rip you off. Winco apparently can keep prices lower because they make you bag your own groceries. That really doesn't phase me because I married a former grocery bagger :)

$1.68 for a gallon of milk!! No joke! Granted, it was fat free (they make you pay for the fat) but that's still incredibly cheap! Everything else was cheap too! We got some buffalo sauce and I'm going to try my hand at making popcorn chicken soon! Which also means I'll have something to post on my food blog. We usually take Andrew with us, and he's always glad to not get ripped off at Broulims. We're glad to take him because we can force him to put gas in our car, muahahahaha! Just kidding. Kinda.

I'm feeling a bit homesick lately. I think it stems from lamenting the loss of living at home for free and not having to pay for any of my own bills that aren't "extras." Being a grown up sucks right now. I won't go into any details here but I will say that I wish Nathan could just graduate and we could move on with our lives.

Thanksgiving is coming up. My favorite holiday! You never feel stupid at Thanksgiving if your costume isn't cool enough, or if you didn't get a very good present for someone, or if your fireworks show was lame. I love Thanksgiving feasts and this is the first year in my LIFE that I won't be spending it in Marysville! Weird! We're exploring a few options for this joyous holiday but I'm not sure what's going to happen.

Work is going alright. I'm getting semi-decent hours, but they should pick up in January because more students need services then. We have an office now, which is cool.

I sold plasma on Monday and got so monstrously sick. I'm afraid it may have messed me up for the rest of the week, which sucks because the weekends still seems forever away. Although... not really, I guess. Only two days until I get another break. I've kind of been in a haze of confusion since Monday and am having a hard time keeping track of what's going on.

Oh! I dressed up as Katniss Everdeen for Halloween! My costume was kind of lame but it was a lot of fun :) We took pictures but right now I'm too lazy to pull out the camera.

Nathan finally figured out his schedule for next semester. We have to deal with some STRAIGHT UP GARBAGE before the school will let him register but everything should work out. Four more semesters!!

It's barely after nine but I am feeling sooooo exhausted already. Stupid plasma. I'm doing this video game meme (in case you haven't noticed) so hopefully that will keep me posting this month.

Also, 4 semesters?! Awesome. I had no idea it was so short. What is his degree going to be in?

  2. Thanksgiving rules! All you have to do is eat delicious food! After you help cook it, which is fun anyway!

Four semesters is two years, unfortunately, and he's getting a mechanical engineering degree.

  3. Ha-I tried to sell plasma once when I was in college. Apparently my "veins were too small." Hope you feel better!
